Let's Introduce Ourselves

I recently had a comment from someone that I didn't realize was following this blog. Not that I screen who is allowed to comment; but I was a bit surprised to hear from this gal. It prompted me to go to my followers' page and that's when I realized that I really don't know very many of you at all.

Now I have an idea. Let's introduce ourselves. Following are a couple of questions. In the comments section, answer the questions. Anyone answering all the questions and leaving an email address will be entered into a drawing for a nice prize. This event is for followers, so if you are not already a follower, become one before you answer the questions.

What's the prize? I'm not sure, yet. Maybe tea. Maybe garden seeds. Something to celebrate or relax with, how's that?

Okay, here you go:

1) Name--this can be your screen name or just first name if you wish.
2) Location--this also can be vague.
3) What type of posts you enjoy most at Everything Home.
4) What you enjoy most to do in your spare time.
5) Three things you could not live without.

If you do not leave an email address, I cannot contact you if you win. Therefore, comments without an email address will not be entered in the drawing. Oh, the deadline. Let's say next Friday, May 13th at midnight.

Looking forward to reading all about you.

Blessings,

  1. Hi Carol!

I think this is a great idea! I am a follower so here are my answers and introduction: My name is Julie and I currently live in Germany where we have lived for almost nine years. We've spent 12 years altogether in Germany; we have spent half of our marriage here (24 years in August). We will be coming home to the US in 46 days and are extremely excited about coming home! I enjoy your posts on anything home and garden related. I homeschool too, so I also enjoy post on home education, but the primary reason I come here to visit you are the home and garden posts. :)

With five kids, I rarely have spare time, but I do try to read each day especially before bedtime. Things I could not live without would be my dishwasher, washing machine (I don't mind hanging my clothes on the clothesline so the dryer doesn't make my list), and my van. When those things go down, life here becomes painful. :)

I can be reached at julie.wriston@yahoo.com or at my blog From Greer to Here. I look forward to coming back and reading about some of the other gals following along. :)

  8. My name is Cathy and I live in Maryland in the D.C. metropolitan area on a pasture based organic farm. I particularly enjoy tips on being frugal. I also very much enjoy reading about what's happening in your life and the life of your family or others. People are so interesting! I love to read and spend time with my husband and children. Planning our menus may be considered work, but I find it very enjoyable. I could not do without my Lord and His Word, my husband, and my 6 children.
